We Were Liars | Book Review

Hey guys!! How are you all? My week was crazy. I was busy and sick this past week...let's hope that's all over soon though. I had to bail on a lot in order to get better, and I felt super bad about that...but I needed that time off to recover. There's a sickness going around right now, I don't know if any of you have caught it, but most people I know have been sick unfortunately...including me :( I'm feeling much better now, though!

Song Of The Day: Ours (by Taylor Swift) - GO LOOK IT UP ON YOUTUBE. It's so good. It's catchy, happy, and puts me in an all around good mood.

Anyways. I was at the library after school one day doing homework and all of a sudden I was like "OMG. I'm in a library, I should check out some books!" And my friend was like "LOL okay go ahead, you should"... so I did.

I finished the first one Friday night. It was so good oh my goodness.

It's called "We Were Liars" and it's about this girl, who was involved in this big accident (but you don't find out till near the end what it actually was, so I won't spoil it). It happened two years before, but she still hasn't recovered, and she is finally getting to spend the summer with her family again (well, 4 weeks of it) like she always used to. SPOILER ALERT: THERE IS THIS HUGE PLOT TWIST AT THE END. WELL LIKE A FEW CHAPTERS FROM THE END. AND IT'S CRAZY, INSANE, AND HAD ME IN TEARS AND SHOCK. No kidding. I was reading it in my bed, tears rolling down my face. But suddenly, the entire book made sense. I was like OH MY GOSH THAT'S WHY (insert confusing part here) HAPPENED. INSANE. But the more I think about it the more everything seems to make sense.

You really need to read it, if you haven't. You owe it to yourself. It's so good. I would say, if you enjoy books with a little romance, family relationships, sadness and plot twists, (like me) then you should totally go read it.

Rating: 9/10.

I'm also currently reading "Every Day". It's about a person/creature/I don't really know who, everyday, wakes up in a different body. With a different life. And for that day, is in control of that person's life. Which is all well and good, till he/she/it meets this girl. And falls in love. SO GOOD SO FAR!! I won't spoil anything else though. I've been told it's quite sad, so of course when I heard that, I was all like "SIGN ME UP" cause I like sad books for some reason, haha. I'm thinking of starting up my old book blog again (well not that old. It's from the summer lol), or having a certain day for book reviews on this blog. I'm thinking it'll keep me reading more.

What do you guys think? What would you prefer? Did you like this book review? Let me know in the comments, and have a wonderful day!

Make it count. You won't get this day again :)

Happy Sunday! Till next time!
