August Faves | September 2017

Hey hey hey!! How are you all today?? (That rhymed, so I'm a poet, okay?! :P)

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Harry Styles' vocals?? Cause BRO. He just released the studio/live version of Two Ghosts, and it sounds THE EXACT same as the original!! I forgot I was listening to the real version every now and then, during the video, LOL.

Anyways. How is it already September?? That's crazy, but I'm not gunna lie, I'm kinda excited about it. I mean, beanies and sweaters! And tea, in a mug!! I walked to the library the other day to get some work done, and wore a beanie, a sweater, had ginger tea in a travel mug, with some good music playing on the walk there. MAN OH MAN, I couldn't have been happier :)

But because it is the start of a new month, I thought it would be the perfect time to do a favourites post! I haven't done very many of these, so I thought, why not? It's fun, and I enjoy writing + reading them, so I hope you will too!! Let's get into it :D

Girl Online: Going Solo - Zoe Sugg (BOOK)
I am a huge fan of Zoella in general, and have read all the books leading up to this one...and let me just say, Girl Online Going Solo did NOT disappoint. I absolutely loved it, from start to finish, and it really inspired me to get into photography more, as well as blogging full force!! Obviously, I was into blogging anyways, but I wanted to be doing it 24/7 after reading this, and it really reminded me why I started in the first place (since it was because of the first book that I got into blogging to begin with!). It was a great read in general, so would definitely recommend!

Shea Butter (BEAUTY PRODUCTS)
Recently got this from one of my friends, and it has been amazing! I used it for the second or third time the other night and it left my legs and arms feeling good, smooth, and soft. I now have two kinds: one from bath and body works (it smells really nice haha), and one from a company called Jergens (I hadn't heard of them before she got me this but I think she got it at a normal store, not sure which one though lol), and I love them both! Again, would definitely recommend.

Dare To Dream Case (IPHONE CASE)
Just got this last week, from a store called Icing. I absolutely love it! In case you weren't aware (though if you follow me on insta, or have read this blog long enough you probs know haha), I LOVE inspirational quotes! And so when I found this one, which was cute, and had a quote on the back, I fell in love. It's a cute little reminder that anything is possible :)

Wonderwoman (MOVIE)
I know I'm a little late with this one, as it seems everyone and their mother has watched it, haha. But OMG I LOVE IT! We watched it a couple nights ago, and it was hilarious and amazing! The main character, Diana (aka wonderwoman) is such an inspiration, and holy girl power, and she's funny, and OH my GOODNESS. Anyways, before I keep rambling, I just want to say that if you haven't seen it, you totally should! AND there are quotes from it that are inspirational/quotable, which just makes it that much better xP

Picks/pick case (MUSIC)
I got this pick case (with picks) from one of my friends, and absolutely love it. The pick case is GENIUS. It keeps all my picks together, which I LOVE because, like she said when she gave it to me, I have a tendency to lose picks...and was forever borrowing hers, or just using my fingers haha. So now I have no excuse!! Plus the picks are really cute, and the pick case is easy to store which is amazing.

Heartbreakers Series - Ali Novak (BOOK SERIES)
I finished both of these within days of getting them xP I absolutely loved them both, a little bit of light reading for my trip a few weeks ago! They were both romantic and cute, and I would definitely recommend. PLUS, the author is a wattpad author, which made me feel that much more excited to read them!!

Saint Anything - Sarah Dessen (BOOK)
If you haven't read Sarah Dessen...what are you doing??? I absolutely adore all her books, and had been meaning to read this one for awhile. I finally did, and did NOT regret it, it was awesome. Though at times it took a bit of getting into (just at the start), once I was IN I was IN, let me tell you. Loved it, and would definitely recommend.

New Hope Club (BAND)
Just discovered them this month. Their covers (yes! They are posting covers on the reg!) are amazing, and their own music is catchy, I'm always singing them under my breath :) would definitely recommend you have a listen!

Annie I Owe You A Dance - Tim McGraw (SONG)
Ahh I absolutely freaking love this song!! It tells such a cute story, and is just a great song, especially for winding down. I would DEFINITELY recommend having a listen!

Anywayssss...that wraps up this post, folks! CANNOT BELIEVE school starts next week - well for me at least! Summer has been great, but passed by so fast. Now, it's back to the grind! I believe in us, though, we got this!! Work hard, and anything is possible.

When do you guys start school/have you already started? And what were your faves this month? Have you tried/watched/read any of the ones I listed? Let me know!

ALSO. Do any of you have insta feeds on your blogs? IF SO, how do I get one??? Please let me know in the comments, cause I have been researching it but am not sure which widget site to go with. I'd rather get a free one, if possible. Thank youuuu :)

Till next time!

~Iris xoxo
