How I Think The Weasley Family Describes Me

Image
Hello hello!! So I know on my insta, I said I was going to do a school q&a...but since I forgot to put it in my last post, I got no questions lol. So that will be next week. Please leave any and all school/life questions below!! Or email them, or comment them on any of my insta pics :) I like to think I'm pretty good at giving advice. And if there's anything you want to know about me as well, you can leave those questions as well haha. ANYWAYS, without further ado, let's get into this post!! Here's how each family member of the Weasley family describes me.  1.  Love of food (Ron Weasley) Ron is practically in love with food, and honestly, same. Though I probably couldn't beat him in an eating competition, the love of food is still strong in this one :) 2.  Awkwardness (Ginny Weasley) I always laugh out loud at this scene with Ginny coming downstairs to see Harry sitting at the table. She stops mid sentence, and stares...

DIY Notebooks

Image
Hey guys! Happy Sunday :) So, as promised on my insta, here is a post about DIY notebooks! I made these ones since I was getting tired of the old ones, so I gave my current ones a revamp :D And you can too! So without further ado, let's get into it! 1. Find notebooks you can do this with. I used a standard moleskine blue planner, and some colourful duct tape for the first one. 2. Take the tape and scissors, and measure out strips as long as the notebook, and then stick them on. 3. Do this till it's completely covered (or at least as covered as you want it), and boom, your finished product is ready :) ****** AN OPTIONAL ADD ON: On my second notebook that I did, I included a quote. To do this: 1. Find a quote you really like. 2. Save it. 3. Drag and drop into a word document. 4. Readjust the size to fit your notebook. 5. Print it. 6. Tape it on. 7. BOOM BA DA BOOM, you're done! :)))) Here are some pics of my final products: That...

5 Things To Do During The Holidays | Blogmas 2016

Image
Ahh, the holidays. A time of joy, a time of fun, a time of laughter, and a time to be with those you love. But there are times when you just don't know what to do on these couple weeks off. If you run into one of these times, never fear! I am here to help. Today's blogmas is 5 things to do during the holidays. Enjoy :)    1.  build a snowman. "Do you want to build a snowman? Cmon let's go and play! Do you wanna build a snowman?" "Go away Anna." "Okay." No, I did not have to google the lyrics. I've just sung the song one too many times😬😂 anyways, this is a super fun activity, if you have snow at home. Packing snow, to be exact. If the packing snow is good, you're golden. Make it classic, or as creative as you like. It's most fun with a bunch of friends. You can even turn it into a competition!! That's super fun, I've done it before. I think we won😅😅     2.  have a snowball fight. ...

The Universal Language of Dance

HEY!! So, I am SO, SOOO sorry. I did it again, didn't I. I'm late to post. For the 45793750154574957th time in a row (fun fact: I just pressed a bunch of random number keys for a few seconds to come up with a huge number). I mean, nothing interesting enough to blog about was happening in my life, really. I was thinking of blogging about fuzzy socks, but then life and homework and tests took over, like usual. I hope you'll understand. But this post is something I experienced today, actually. And that's the power of the universal language of dance. Dance connects us in a way that only dance again. I myself am NOT a great dancer at all, my dance moves consist of the box, and moving my hands in weird and random motions to make me look like I'm dancing. And I did ballet once. For a year. When I was 6. (It just wasn't my thing I guess. I'm not very coordinated, so that probably has something to do with it haha. Music is much more my speed, but I do enjoy roc...

Top 10 Favourite movies

Hi guys!!! So...this is a post about my favourite movies. As a side note, I went to see the new starwars movie today with my family, so look out for a review on that! I'll probably put one up sometime soon. The holidays have been super busy for me, so I haven't gotten much time to write, unfortunately. However, I've seen quite a few movies with various people over my holiday, so I decided that a cool post for today would be my favourite movies. Now, this will be difficult for me, as I've seen and watched so many, but I'm going to try my best. Okay, here goes: 1) The entire Harry Potter series. Okay, I know what you're thinking. C'mon, Iris, really? A series? You said top ten MOVIES not SERIES. I know, I know. But there are 8 movies and that would take up 8 spots, and I have many more movies that I enjoy. Therefore this will count as one. And if you don't like this series...shame on you. Haha, if you couldn't tell, I'm a MAJOR fan of the har...

Flashback week - Making Cootie Catchers!

Hey guys! So I'm going to do one of these weeks every now and then - a flash back week. It'll basically be something that I haven't done in awhile, that I did when I was younger, so it's like it's 'new'. And it'll also be something that I think other people probably also did when they were younger. Also, I'm so so so sorry I didn't post on Sunday as usual...but anyways. ON WITH THE POST! I don't know about you guys, but when I was younger I absolutely loved making what we called 'cootie catchers' or 'fortune tellers'. I don't know what it was about them, maybe it was the fact that such a cool contraption was made of a simple piece of paper, or maybe I just liked controlling other people's future. But I always really enjoyed creating them. So for this week, I decided to make a few and try them out, sharing my experience and fun with you guys. To make one, you can either print off a template or make your own! You make ...

RANDOM FUN STUFF-DRAW A STICKMAN!

Be creative every day. This is the message at the end of your stick man's journey. Ah, but this is just the beginning! First, I am so, so sorry I am late in posting...I've been so busy! For this week, I decided to go for a more fun new thing, that everyone can try. I went to drawastickman.com. This is a website which allows you to create your own stick-person, and take it on a journey of its own! You can see your stick-person come to life, and as it goes along it asks you to draw things in so that it can defeat the mighty dragons, beasts, or whatever may come its way. And the best part is? You don't even have to be an amazing artist! I know that some of my drawings weren't the best - one ladder rung was crooked at the top, and my key did not look the best either - but the cheerful stickman I created didn't judge. He still used them to the best of his ability. On the contrary, you can also be as creative and elaborate as you like. I even saw one person who'd draw...
