Going Vegetarian!

HEY!! So, since it's Sunday, I'm back with a new post :) This week, I decided to try out being vegetarian. I thought it would be a cool experiment, and a helpful one, especially with all the documentaries and articles I've been seeing recently about how it would help the earth more than a lot of things. However, it was so much harder than I thought. I don't normally eat lunch at home, and so this week I suddenly became aware of just how many delicious meat options there were out there that I usually ate...I didn't allow myself to have them though haha. I will admit, I did have one cheat day: there was a barbeque that we only have once a year. I remember the burgers being super delicious last year...so I couldn't resist. (they were delicious this year, too, incase you were wondering!) And this morning, I had meat by accident. Oops. I was good for the rest of the week though! So, here are some of my final thoughts about this week: It was a good experimen...

The Happiness Tag

HEY WONDERFUL READERS!! So for today, I was nominated for the Happiness Tag!!! Thank you so much to Acqua , who nominated me :) this is honestly so cool!!!!! Go check out her post, and just her blog in general. It's awesome :D So without further ado, lets get right into it!! This is what makes me happy :) Scents: -baking cookies -mangoes -cakes -just any food in general!! -springtime smell -wood burning fires Books: - Now and Forever: I just read this book this weekend and OMG. It was so good and honestly gave me so many feels. I cried, I laughed, it was great. I would totally recommend it.  - Speechless: I just finished this one today, haha, but it was AMAZING. It really makes me want to do something about bullying, which is the main focus of the book. Not that I didn't in the first place.  - The Fault in our Stars: I LOVE THIS BOOK!! I know a ton of people do and you can call it cliche if you want. But it's one of my faves for a...

Ipsy Review!

Image
HEY PEOPLE!! So, I'm not sure if you have seen my 'about me' page lately, but I have decided to try and post every Sunday. Unfortunately, I did not post last Sunday, so this is making up for it haha. Anyways. I'm not sure if you have heard of it, but recently, my mum and I subscribed to a makeup program type thing called 'Ipsy'. You basically sign up, and pay a certain fee every year, and then each month they send you a little bag with five new makeup products. I was just getting into makeup at the time, and my friend and her mom had started it, so my mum and I decided to give it a try.  Now, I will say, it is quite expensive, I think. However, it is very fun, and I probably would not get this much makeup otherwise, haha.  At the start, when you sign up, you take this quiz. You pick as many or as few brands as you would like to see in your makeup bags, as well as the type of product, and the kind of makeup style you like. They then base your products...

Final Update: Musical!!!

HEY!! So, I haven't posted in literally forever and I am SO SORRY!!! Life got in the way :( Namely, the musical, which is what I wanted to post about. So the week before last week, we did the show. And let me just say, it was amazing, and so fun!! I honestly was so nervous before and during opening night. I mean, I was going to be up on stage! Doing stuff! In front of a lot of people! That in of itself was so nerve-wracking. But once I got into it, it was actually so fun. Yes, things went wrong, as they always do, but hey, it's not like the audience knew, right? The second night was so much more fun for me personally. I knew what I was doing, at least more than I had the first time. There were mic difficulties all three nights unfortunately, which meant my solo usually went unheard. Like, REALLY??? That was my time to shine!! But NO, it HAD to cut out. Haha, I think someone in the sound booth had it out for me :P Just kidding. The sound booth people were really nice. And to...

A Life Update, And Riding Scooters

HELLO! So, I just glanced over the entries...and realized I haven't posted since January! JANUARY! It's April! I'm not sure how I've gotten so side tracked - and I'm so sorry. Time has just flown by! So I guess I'll give a quick little update on my life for this post. 1) Musical: It's going well :) We are performing at the end of the month. Holy cow, that's close, and I'm kind of super nervous but it's all good, I'm sure it's going to be amazing. I hope. 2) I went for a run for the first time in 2016 the other day. I realized how unfit I was, oh my goodness. Though I realized that the other day, too, walking to the library. I was WALKING! And I was still tired. I really need to get into shape. Good news is, it's spring, so I'll be more likely to go outside! 3) I don't really know what to say for 3, haha. I just wanted a number 3 but...I don't have much to say. OH! I rode a scooter for the first time. Yeah, yeah I kno...

Spreading positivity challenge

HELLO! How ya doin? So I've noticed that I've been posting about positivity quite a bit, so I decided to continue the trend, haha. My other posts have been about keeping yourself positive, though. This one is going to be about spreading it.  First, I just need to say something. I honestly don't understand why people feel the need to hate on people they've never met.  For example, celebrities.  Do you know how much hate they get on a daily basis? It's ridiculous! For goodness sakes, you don't even know the person! You don't know the first thing about them, you only know what is available on the Internet. I can assure you, there is so much more to them than that. You have no idea. So don't hate! Appreciate! So that's why I've decided to post this, and start this fun challenge. I'll post a bunch of different ideas to spread positivity, and I'll do them too. I want you to comment when you do them, or post a blog post a...

Debating and Working Out!

HALLO! So, as a follow up to my post yesterday, I thought I'd do a quick post today about how I'm doing on day 1 of my resolutions :) I surprisingly had a very good Monday! Mondays aren't usually the best for me...I mean, it's Monday. The weekend is now over. You have to start a new week. BUT I'm going to try and NOT think like that, haha, 'cause one of my resolutions was to be more positive. That's going to be hard on Monday mornings though... :-| Anyways. The first resolution was to be more active...I had a dance rehearsal today for the musical (FUN! But I don't normally do dance so I had to focus quite a bit to get the moves :P)...and I also just finished working out and watching TV. Who else watches PLL? I DO! While I'm working out. I'm only on season 3 though, and I know the newest episode just aired...so no spoilers please!!! :) The second resolution was to do one thing every day that scares me. For today, I debated. I was terrified. ...
